Dead to Self

Consider the time you spent entertaining yourself. Doing things such as watching a movie, reading a book, playing a game by yourself or with others, surfing the web, blogging, etc.

Now, consider the time you spent praying and reading the Bible.

Are you really "dead to self" if you entertain yourself more then reading the Bible and praying?

Self-Reliance

You know that time you just relied on yourself. You may have succeeded or failed, but just think how much easier it would have been if you had just laid it on the Lord.

Forsaken

My God! My God! Why have I forsaken You?

Desire

Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. This desire gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin! Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer.

Choices

Who guides your choices? The world or a Godly influence?

Fog

We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright!

Self-confidence

Forget about self-confidence; it's useless. Cultivate God-confidence.

How Will You Be Spent

If you have been saved, your life is now God's, for him to spend as he will see fit.
