The Storm

Hey everyone! I haven't been on the internet in a week and a bunch of people say "Hey! Where are you at!". Well, it makes me feel loved. I've been sitting on my hands down here waiting for the electric to come back on after a storm went through. I was told it was equivalent to a category 3 hurricane. It knock down a bunch of trees, blow away some houses that weren't masonry and just made a mess everywhere. But, everyone is fine.

Here are some pictures, just to give an idea of the mess.

Thanks for your prayers! Keep praying my language learning keeps going well and for two men in the church who gave their lives to the Lord. Pray their commitment would be strong and their would grow in their new lives.

My Schedule

Um, my schedule doesn't really exist. Its not really a set thing. I wake up, eat breakfast, study Spanish from a book, eat lunch, play cards, prepare for church, go to church (sometimes by bus), go home, eat supper, get ready for bed, go to bed. All the while trying to talk Spanish. Some days two of the guys from church take me along to work and we ride around the countryside, going to farms, and they take pictures and do paperwork. They work for the government and help farmers get government programs. Any questions?

So should a church say "No TV's Allowed"? What does the Bible say about TV? Actually the Bible doesn't say TV in it anywhere as far as I could find. But, if we are so concerned about what the Bible says, what about Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations," Who was your last disciple? We wouldn't want to disobey the Bible by watching TV if it said not to. So, is it ok to disobey the Bible by not making disciples?
